The multidisciplinary OpteMom Team includes child and adolescent psychologists, human development specialists, educators for gifted learners, and early childhood care & education experts. Our sophisticated learning center in Gurgaon provides both a unique environment for childhood growth and development and an innovative laboratory and testing ground for our tools and techniques.

Justice AP Shah
Justice (Ret’d) AP Shah was appointed the Chief Justice of the Delhi High Court from May 2008 till his retirement in February 2010. In 2011 Justice Shah served as the Chairperson of Broadcasting Content Complaints Council (BCCC), the self-regulatory body for non-news general entertainment channels (GECs) set up by the Indian Broadcasting Foundation (IBF). He held the position of Chairman of the 20th Law Commission of India from 2013 to 2015.
Dr. Prerana Mohite
Dr. Prerana Mohite, PhD, is Professor Emeritus, Visiting Professor in the Department of Human Development and Family Studies Department, MS University of Baroda. Dr. Mohite was the former head of the department, as well as the director for Early Child Development at MS University of Baroda. She currently serves as honorary advisor of Tree House Education & Accessories Limited.

Dr. Shayama Chona / Dr. Ritu Juneja
Dr. Shayama Chona, PhD, is the founder and president of Tamana Special, a non-profit organization established in 1984 to serve the needs of developmentally disabled / autistic individuals. She has been awarded the Padma Shri and Padma Bhushan, as well as two National Awards and one State Award. Dr. Chona also served as the former principal of Delhi Public School, RK Puram.
Dr. Ritu Juneja, PhD, is the director of Tamana Special.

Nitin Bindlish
CEO, Crafting Futures
Nitin Bindlish brings 15 years of rich and varied experience from top-tier multinational companies such as KPMG, American Express and Aon Hewitt. Trained as a qualified chartered accountant, he served as CEO of Corona Dental Labs, a dental lab serving dental professionals across India, before launching Crafting Futures, the parent company of OpteMom.
Prior to his role as Corona CEO, Mr. Bindlish served as vice president, business expansion, for New Delhi-based Clove Dental. He led Clove’s growth from a network of 18 clinics at mid-2014 to 60 clinics by February 2015, securing Clove’s position as the largest dental network in North India. Mr. Bindlish’s portfolio later grew to include sales and marketing. During his tenure, revenues and footfalls grew exponentially. Mr. Bindlish started his career at Clove Dental as head of finance.
Mr. Bindlish has expertise in strategic planning and organizational leadership, conceptualizing and driving business strategies, and finance and accounting operations. He is highly experienced in the design and application of business models for start-ups. His proven ability to build and manage cross-functional, high performance teams and his experience in productivity improvement and process design are valuable assets.
He received his professional qualification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and has additional accreditation from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta (core-strategy) and in International Financial Reporting Standards from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, UK.
Dr. Mukta Vasal
Chief Child Psychologist
Chief Child and Adolescent Psychologist Dr. Vasal has over 15 years of experience in the field of child and adolescent mental health. She has been a visiting consultant at several hospitals in the Delhi NCR region and in 2008, she opened Parvarish, a resource center for developmentally disabled children and their parents. In 2011, Dr. Vasal relocated to the U.S. for further education in the field of child development.
Dr. Vasal is highly qualified, having earned honors in child development, a bachelor’s degree in education, a master’s degree in psychology and a doctorate degree in human development and family studies.
Additionally, she has received specialist training or certification in the following areas:
- Gifted education, Purdue University, USA
- The TEACCH method for autistic children, University of North Carolina, USA
- Sensory Integration and Praxis Test (SIPT) administration & measurement, University of Southern California, USA
Dr. Vasal’s perspective is influenced by the different fields in which she’s been trained. Each area of training contributes to her proven ability to understand a wide variety of developmental issues and develop a unique therapeutic approach for each child she sees.
Dr. Vasal returned to India in 2014 and re-launched Parvarish with a team of specialized consultants. She regularly contributes articles for print media and has participated in radio talk shows on child mental health issues.
